mild vibration/pulsing feeling at idle
This might have been brought up before but when I searched I coudnt find a thread on the same subject ... any way here goes
I just bought a used 2016 Jeep Cherokee North Edition ( 94000 + km )and was sold by a dealership in Halifax they drove it to me and reported no issues.
Took it for a test drive that same day( about 2 hours in total ) and everything was fine. Parked it overnight
Went to work the next morning and decided to take the bike instead. Got home at around 5pm and me and a friend took it out for another drive. Again wasnt out no longer than about 2 hours
On the way back home is when the issue started
When the vehicle is stopped at a red light with the break pressed (stopped in in traffic at idle) or in park and with the vehicle just idling, a mild vibration almost pulsing feeling can be felt up through the seat..
On occasion it will do the same thing when first accelerating out from a dead stop but seems to only last for the first few seconds of first gear. After the Cherokee is into a higher rpm the vibration/pulsing feeling goes away and the SUV behaves as normal.
No codes show up on the dash, No check engine message or light comes on, no other messages as well ... going though the options on the dash the engine, trans temp where normal, oil life was at 98% and the gas was well over half a tank of fuel
Any ideas as what it could be
