Default chop top

So I was thinking about cutting the roof off of my 87 2 dr cherokee and was wondering if anyone else had done this before and how you went about it! any info or tips would be much appreciated! Thanks!

The roof is a major structural part of the vehicle. It would be really flexy until it fell completely apart. You could replace the roof with some sort of tube frame arrangement i suppose but it would be quite the project.

Some kind of cage in the back would be a nessesity to help hold it all together but there have been people that have done it before.
