Hello, I just purchased a 2017 Jeep Cherokee limited and it has a starting and stalling issue. When I get in I push the button to start with foot on the brake and it starts then stalls. Key fob has brand new battery. (I tried that already). LOL.
It does this repeatedly every day but not all the time, (intermitantly). It starts then shuts off. Then I do it again and it starts then shuts off. No Lights on dash nor is the security light on. It usually starts on the third try. The dealership had it for two days and couldn't find anything wrong with it. They didnt drive it, I know for a fact. Seems to do it when you run to the store, shut it off for a few minutes then get back in.
Help!! Im going crazy. I think it is the button to start it.

This problem was resolved with a new push button start button on my dash board.
