1998 jeep cherokee sport 3" lift

Hi there I am ready to lift my jeep. Im going to do 3 inches. And i was wondering what i would all need. I'm going to buy rear add a leafs and front lift coils. I was wondering if longer brake lines, drop pitman arm, adjustable control arm, longer shocks, and transfer case drop kit are all necessary. and how bout with my driveshaft is it long enough? was wondering if i could just get away with doing just the add a leafs and lift springs. If im missing anything please let me know.

You wont need anything other than shocks and brake lines front and rear. I have a Home made 4 inch lift and I only did the shocks and brake line and I get full flex with no problems. If you go over 4.5 inches then install a SYE and don't bother with the T case drop you lose some ground clearance. If you want to do a buget lift get the Front coils out of a V8 ZJ that will give you about 3.5 to 4 inches after they settle. The rear leafs can be added to if you get some from the scrap yard and go for the longest ones and get them wrapped so they don't come apart. The only other thing you will need is a sway bar drop bracket, You can look it up on line and Fab one up yourself in about 1 hour and save cash.... Hope this helps

Thanks. My leafs are shot and im getting brand new factory ones for 120 a piece. You think I'd be better with add a leafs or blocks. And I know that people say max 31" tires. But I was wondering if 32" or 33's would work

stay away from the blocks AXLE WHIP and you wont want that on the trail.....120 for 2 sets yes but if you are paying 129 per side HOLY CRAP that`s expensive out here it's 165 for both packs. I run 31's so I can get as much flex and still hammer the inner fenders front and rear, If you go to a 32/33 tire you will be cutting your fenders. I personaly hate add a leaf I get mine arc'd and went long leafs to keep the rear end from sagging and have has no problems... Good luck and get that Heep out and Wheel it

Where you from? 120 a pair is really cheap I thought. Oem leafs they were asking 400 each. I don't go riding. So don't care too much about flex. Just want some clearance for bigger wheels. And so I don't get hung up anymore as easily atleast lol
