rebuilding a 1964 CJ5A

Hello everyone,

I haven't introduced myself yet so here I go, My name is Dany , I live in Val d'Or, Quebec, Canada. I have been restoring and rebuilding for over 25 years, started at the age of 15, I Own presently a 1985 GMC Jimmy, a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee, And my Project a 1964 Willys CJ5A (Under going a Frame off restoration) I picked up this gem for only 1000$ in working condition, with extra parts ( front and rear Diff, 2 hoods, front grill, transfer case extra,) I bought this Jeep to make a great off road vehicule , after evaluation I noticed that this is the real deal, I have all the original power train, Original hurricane F head, original T90 trans, and Dana 18 Trans Transfer case, So There is no way I can hack this Jeep, So I will restore it to what someone would of inproved on in the 60 to make it better, so keep posted for updates

Welcome. By all means keep us in the loop on the restoration. Hmm.... '64 eh? 46 years young. Good call to save her.
