Canada New in New Brunswick

Hello every one; my name is Gilles and I am the proud owner of a 2011 Wrangler Sport (Mango Tango with Freedom top). I have owned a 1990 Jeep Laredo and a 1998 Jeep Cheerokee Classic; both 4.0L. This is my first "jeep" but I have drove them before and am very familiar with off road/ mechanical stuff. Not a serious mud splasher, but I like messing it up once in awhile and having the 4X4 option in the winter!

Welcome to the board... Fellow NB'er here, way up on the North Shore in Dalhousie

So many people consider the wranglers a true jeep, but i dont know, i havn't owned a wrangler yet... some day i suppose... but all my Jeeps have gone places wranglers have gone, so i dont know what all the fuss is about

but those new JK's are something else, plenty of aftermarket goodies for them to make your jeep do whatever you want... they look awesome, and 4 door's i would actually have enough room for me to bring my dog along with me and the family LOL

Yeah, you are a little north of me; I'm in the Fredericton area. I agree, my Laredo and Cheerokee were great in the mud and snow and had quite a bit of room in them. My new one is a 2 door as my kids are older and it isn't our "family" vehicle. The new interior and seats are great, so are the wheel mounted controls; will tweek it a bit over the next couple years.
