I just bought a dark green '08 Wrangler 4 door. I pick the JK up on Monday and I am super excited.

Welcome to the forum, Im new too and i also just picked up a 2010 Dark Green Jeep sahara unlimited! It is a lot of fun on the road but A heck of a lot more fun on the Trail. And this is coming from a guy who never owned a jeep in his life but only audis and an srt4. Make sure you post some pictures up after you get it!

Welcome to Forum. You made a very good choice in buying a Jeep its a vehicle good in any kind of weather you might even save on shoveling your driveway this winter.. :)

 

I hope so. I had a 2008 Patriot and I hated it. Well....I should say I hated the CVT. I am sure it would have been a different animal if it were standard, but my Wife doesn't drive standard.

Most likely, I had a 2008 Jeep Patriot 4x4 5-speed and I never had to shovel. I had a good set of winter tires too. :) Anyways, welcome aboard!!

 

Ya, the CVT was garbage in my opinion...and when I did get stuck in the snow, low and behold the ESP wouldn't shut off. Had the have it flashed.

 

OK. Mine was fine. I know some that had issues with that. That CVT isn't good at all.
