Canada New From BC! New To Jeeps!

Whats up guys and hopefully at least a couple Gals!

I just got a 98 TJ with 138,000KM in pretty mint condition. Everything is stock, but the tires are 32" x 11.5" & i added a couple washers to the steering bump stop to correct the rubbing at full crank.

I'm new into Jeeps, coming from Nissan 240sx's these are a very different vehicles! haha.

I have this crazy water issue and i can't seem to find the issue! If it rains then i get water built up in the passenger foot area as well as water coming from the rear of the roof. I washed the truck over the weekend looking for the leak, but when i washed it there was no water penetration! Its very frustrating issue as it has killed my sound system... Any help would be appreciated!

Here are a couple pics!

Welcome to the forum, you may have to get someone inside while you hose it done to see if you can spot the leak. Probably a seal if it's coming from the back.

I had a friend in the truck while i washed it and there was no leak. He thinks its just condensation, but I think its more then that. There is too much water for that and the hard top has equalization vent in the back that should stop it from condensing.

Did you check the floor, under the mats? They should have drain plugs so the Jeep can be hosed out after a day in the mud!

Welcome... nice paint color. Quite a difference between the shade and sun.

Found the leak at the front!

Water that goes into the grill in front of the windshield on the hood must be plugged as the water is getting into my heat pipes and running into my passenger side foot area. I will look into it further tonight when i get off work.

TTY soon guys!

Hey guys!

Found the leak in the back of my jeep to be the weather strip on my hatch glass. Anyone know where i can find new hatch glass for cheap as the weather strip can not be repaired?

Thanks!
