Hello all

Ok I had been looking at a cheap 4x4 for a long time now and after I found out my brother was selling his 99 Cherokee I talked to the wife. She had told me a "few" times that I must be going through my midlife or something. So we talked and she said if this is what would make me happy I should do it. So, I talked to my brother and after looking at the jeep, it looked good, I took it in to have it checked out. OH S**T!!! He was hoping to get 1500 out of it before we looked at it. We took it to the wife's nephew and after a quick look my brother was just happy he was still alive. We started with new wheel bearings, U-joints, brakes, tires, windshield, blower motor resister, washer pump, and a few other small things.

After doing some of these things I Figure I want to get it looking like a "really" jeep... You know muddy. Anyways this is going to be a slow build since I am cheap and when I have time I have no money but when I have money I have no time.

Anyways. I am John and I'm in the Oshawa area. I have just started doing work to the Cherokee but I have been doing a lot of reading and checking out some mods I want to get done.

I am thinking a 3.5" lift will be happening soon since the back is sagging bad.
I have autopals waiting to go in as soon as my upgrade harness gets here.
I have a Cobra DX I want to get in but need an antenna, mount and coax.
I want to go with a roof basket and lights but will have to wait till other things get done.

Anyways you get the idea.
