Default Hello from Blue Ridge

Hello to all y'all jeep nuts out there.

Well new to the site but new to jeeps by no means. my first jeep was a 74 wagoneer Wide Trac 4dr with a 360 amc when I was 5, then I never had a jeep until i was 18 and bought a 96 XJ sport which I still have and I also still have the 93 XJ sport as well that one was a $1500 buy and 5 hour look over packed the wife and 14 month daughter in it and drove from Sussex new brunswick all the way to blue ridge Alberta with only the slip yolk seal failing in northern new brunswick.
Now I have a 2012 jk rubi 2dr 6spd, with 2800km on the clock and just love it, have a hard time getting off work and not going foor a trail run before bed! I use it for what it was intended for, OFF ROAD! 200km on the clock and I was running through a quad trail by my house with a smile ear to ear!!.Would have been off road sooner but my son was asleep in the back seat when I brought it home from the dealer!!
Ok sorry for rambling on so bad just got off night shift and i'm wound like a squiral eating coffie beans!
So to everyone that held on to the end of this ramble Thank You, and remember it's a jeep thing, MAKE them understand!! be safe, and see you on the trails!!

Nice story - Yes It's A Jeep Thing...only A Jeeper Would Understand.....The XJ had a used 89 for a few years b/4 my used 03 tj I have now.. still got a love for the XJ, they were a little longer, rode and little better, more place for my junk, so I bottomed out now and then on the trails, or got hung up on a big bump (like a sea-saw) lol.. Great vehicle, no regrets and see you had none either. Glad you joined us, and do jump in when someone has questions you can help them on.. like family.... welcome aboard..."Don't forget some pictures when you get a chance"
