HELLO! 2013 JK owner YAY!
Hello Everyone! My name is Josh, and I own a black 2013 Wrangler Sahara. This is the first jeep I've ever had and I'm really enjoying it so far. Lots of power (more than I expected), and it turns on a dime. The last jeep I drove was and 80's Jeep, and I must say this is a pleasent change. I do have plans for it such as a lift kit, and bigger tires. I will provide a full spec list and pictures when I'm finished my set of night shifts. I'm really excited to get it out on some trails and back roads, but for now it's a pavement princess until my grille inserts come in. I'm also getting mud flaps (which will most likely collect dust in garage for the first while). I've got tonnes of research to do on these as far as parts/performance/operation goes and by all means fit the word NEWB .

Pretty cool, im in a similar situation myself. Not sure if mudflaps will be needed, jeeps have external wheel arches that do the same job. What grille insert are you planing to get? I just got the Rugged Ridge Grille Insert myself.

On a side note, Which would be better to get: Locking gas cap OR Locking fuel door?

Got my grille inserts in and on the jeep. They are Cloud Rider ones. They look pretty restrictive as far as airflow goes, but they also look like they could take a few rocks before they get really banged up. Still haven't put the mud flaps on yet though. I'm not sure if I want to.
On a side note, black is a PITA to clean hard water spots off of and it shows EVERYTHING. I swore I'd never own another black vehicle, but hey here we are.

Another odd thing, It has 1250KMish (all highway/back roads) on it now and man is the motor loud, not sure if its the injectors or something else. Getting about 18-26ish MPG which is what I expected, maybe it will go up later. I've been filling it up with 87 and a tank of 91. Power seems good. I still am getting used to the electric throttle, cruise control is nice for a change. I see a lift kit in the near future and some bigger tires when I'm not broke :P
