Exclamation Paint advice.

Ok so here is my dilemma. I'm redoing a Cnd M-101 trailer and it has an abundance of rust on it. I've been getting it prep'ed for paint by grinding all the heavy rust areas. Now I am getting ready to start at least the front of the trailer for paint to cover the bear metal.
I will be using rustoleum paint in a desert tan for the colour, black for axels and rims.

The question is when using rustoleum do I HAVE TO lay a primer before the rustoleum? If so what is the best primer to use with rustoleum paint?

Thanks for the advice.

Bill

If you read the destructions on the can does it not tell you what they recommend?

Cheap *** primer,
light misting, let dry an hour, good coat of primer,
let dry overnight,
light misting of paint, let dry an hour, good coat of paint,
let dry, one or two days,
clear coat.

Good luck, post some picks...
