My jeep stolen tonight
Hey all, Yup My 1995 Jeep Wrangler was stolen tonight out of my driveway in Melmerby Beach, New Glasgow Nova Scotia. I attached a pic, the only differences between the pic and now is that the wheels are now black and so in the diamond plate around the bottom.
If any one in Nova scotia see this Jeep, please let me know.
Thanks.
Fraser
This jeep was a project for me and my 14 yr old son. it was going to be his in 2 years..
if the ***** who took it happens to see this post by chance ( probably not, because its only REAL Jeep owners here, not Theives) You can best asure you better run if i find you!

FOUND!!!!! RCMP called me at 3am, they found it parked behind Blockbuster ( about 20kms away) completely unharmed , even the cd's and box of tools still there! Guess someone just really wanted to rent a movie?!?! They are dusting it for for finger prints today and say I should have it back monday! YEAH!!!!!!!....time to go alarm shopping I guess.

Re: My jeep stolen tonight
Take it for what its worth: Buy a Club (Cdn Tire) when u park even in ur driveway turn ur wheels to either left or right full and then stick on the Club, you may also want to stick it in 4 wd..just remember to remove it b/4 moving the vehicle. If you go away for a few days and it sits alone..take the Neg battery cable off and tie it up. I have a friend thats runs a chain thur his wheels, but like u it was stolen once.

Good advice...I understand cranking the wheels...but as a "newbie", not sure what you mean by leaving it in 4WD, what is the advantage there??? Thanks, I have lots to learn, may as well start....LOL

Re: My jeep stolen tonight
one good one is too pull the fuse to the fuel pump, or even better yet install a "hidden" off/on switch inline with the power feed to the fuel pump.
I once had a remote (hidden) switch that was wired in series with the clutch switch in my bronco II. This way it would not even turn over.

Bman505 has the right idea...........Install a hidden "kill" switch on the ignition circuit line that only you know where it is.........the battery could be plugged in and they still can't start it!!........even if they hot-wire it, it still won't work.
.......Something I should take the time to do myself really..........
