Yo dwhite!

Are you refering to the top, or the side windows themself? With respect to the top, make sure you clip the plasic clip into the winow frame. This is the same pastic rail that is found by the front two doors.

When clipping these in, you should have the two clamps above the sun visors loose, and it helps also if the two rear corner sails are not secure....less tension seems to help.

Good luck

I guess it would be the side windows.....I wish they had used the same clips as over the doors ....would have been a NO BRAINER.

Ya, I had the same problem when I first got mine. The side windows had a "L" shaped clip that runs from top to bottom, this "L" shape must slide into the plastic window rail.
I zip up 2 or 3 inches of zipper, then clip in the same amount of plastic at the bottom of the window to the rail of the Jeep. Next, ease the "L" shaped part of the window into the channel of the plastic window rail. You may need to tug and push with mild force....but the "L" will seat in ...almost wraps around if you will. The should not just sit int he window rail, thatg's not right and you WILL take on water

Bellow are a few links that maybe usefull.

If not ping me back with questions I will try to help....once you get the hand of it...its a 5min to topless freedom, or staying dry.

The first picture for the channel over the doors. This is the same channel for the front doors, and I will admit tricky first few times.

1/ loosen the clamps under the sun visors
2/ at the rear of the Jeep, above the tail lights were the two 'pillars' of material come down in each corner, left the plastic clip (that is under the metal rail of the jeep)
(These two steps will help loosen the top, and releave tension on the top it self.
3/ Make sure this channel above the 4 doors are removed (yes we have to take a step back to go forward)
4/ Remove one of the side widows you need to start fresh.
5/ Now, re-zip the zipper on 2 or 3 inches.
6/ Clip the plastic at the bottom under the rail again 2 or 3 inches.
7/ In your second photo you are holding thre "L" spine if you will....you need to insert this "L" spine into the vertical slot just to the right of your thumb. This slot is in the plastic window rail you installed prior to getting this far. Start from the top, and 'roll this' "LL spine into the grove, it seats in quite tight, work your way all the way down.
8/ Run the zipper all to the end, and same goes for the bottom plastic clip at the bottom.
9/ Repeat same steps for the other side.
(Its best to do the side windows first, then leave the rails for last...IMO)
10/ On the drivers side pull the plastic channel as picture photo #1 under and clip it into the plastic window rai. Once you get it started you can run your fingers under neith as you clip it in.
11/ Do the rear passanger side the same way.
12/ DO the opposite side of the jeep in the same way
13/ Now is the time to secure the clips under the sun visors
14/ Finally, at the rear of the Jeep, above the tail lights, clip the plastic clips under the rail of the Jeep. (some times you need to pull down on rear of the top, again allows to releave tension.

It really helps to leave things loose in the above order, then work from the front of the Jeep to the rear.

Another fellow told me how to post pictures, I need to take that advice and try, when I figure it out, I'll post some of what it should look like.

As for the third photo....ooochieeeemama nice looking Jeep....savour that new Jeep Smell :)
