I am happy she'd running better too... lots more fun to drive when you don't have to worry about it stalling. Now another problem has surfaced... whenever I clutch in the revs go up to 3000 RPM and that only started after I took it to the mechanic. I called them and they want me to pay for them to fix a problem I beleve they caused. I've cleaned up the engine, changed the thermostat, bled the heating system and so far have not found any leaks (yay!) I've got a proper air cleaner assembly on order as well as a battery holder thing.
What kind of Jeep do you have?

The 2.8L is a GM motor. The same ones used in S10 Pickups of the same years.

had the 2.8 in my 86 last year it's a chevy block to do the 4.0 change over it's alotta work motors mounts all wiring fuel tank did it in my g/f's 86 might be cheaper to buy 87 or newer and switch vin tags :)
