I just can't Stop Myself....I need to attend Jeeps annonymous!!!!
Well in the art of Bear cannot leave things alone the Brute is under revision yet again!!
Da Brute is getting the all new Bear TraX 4x4 7075 T651 aluminum 3 link in the front and triangulated 4 link rear along with aluminum track bar/tie rod/drag link(true crossover.....I am sick of the dead spot in the inverted T steering!!!). This will be dampened with 14 inch King coil overs and hydraulic bumps in the front and rear.
We will also try to relocate the battery out of the engine bay, strip off the Volant snorkel and replace it with a cowl intake(in the wiper cowl), the NV3500 is parting and being replaced with an AW4 with RA Designs twin stick shifter. Gonna swap the StaK 3 speed t-case out for an Atlas 2speed/NWT Black box combo(for a 173.24-1 crawl ratio in uber low)......the 125 pound front bumper is also being replaced with a lighter and improved version.....a stubby/stinger grill guard combo. The fenders will be changed out for lighter 8 inch high clearance rears and Metalcloak overline fronts. We are also flatening the belly and installing a 2 inch T-6 bully up kit that is both an engine/transfer case skids.......sheesh when am I going to learn to leave well enough alone!!

.oh and there is room for 42's at full articulation(stuff on one side-droop on the other) soooo.... 42 inch MTR's are ordered!!!
Dunno when she will be done but hopefully will have her oiut before the snow flies! ???

Thanx Guyz!!Well I am hopin when she is done it will be Brutiful....LOL
I cannot wait to test out the "New" barage of mods.....and get her to Moab in the spring!!!
anyways how do ya make 38 inch MTR's look ghey?
Make room for 42's and test fit the 38's
....This is pretty much ride hieght>>>

Well we didn't work on the Brute this weekend but the work we did get done is exactly the same except for the high steer arm just on the project right next to the Brute so here are some teaser pics!!

Dammit Bear, I've already burnt out one keyboard from drooling over the brute!
Now I've got those visions of putting a NV3500 from a Dakota into my WJ again...

As always very cool Bear. You should be able to make a poster like "the evolution of man" with the Brute. Something all us Jeepers could hang in the garage!
