Default Help - newbie left tops off in thunderstorm

Hi everyone....just signed up, new Jeep owner....1.5 months so far and lovin it....2011 Wrangler Sport....hardtop only...finally got the right tool to remove on Saturday only to wake up to a soaked vehicle........now my signals and wipers dont work!!! all else seems ok???

Any ideas??? fuses etc....otherwise its back to the dealer and another question if you dont mind....if there is damage is it something the warranty will cover??? Im thinking not, sort of self inflicted !!!

Any ideas are welcome..

Happy Trails

Let it dry out for a few days and see what happens you could check the fuses as you have mentioned. Also remove the carpets as they will start to smell musty.

Thanks.....yes most of the things Ive been reading HIGHLY recommend removing the carpets also, so more work.....have ordered a stationary cover for when its "topless" in the meantime leaving the front panels on...may have to invest in a soft top next year....to make my life easier!!!

Appreciate the help.

Well I might just have got lucky.....Jeep is at the dealer now...nothing on the steering wheel works, no horn, light, wipers, cruze, stereo volume etc.......they have all apart and have reflashed the computer now half is working.....and the advisor said he thinks he saw a bulletin from Chrysler....so we'll see, I'll update here for any other 2011 having "issues"....did the water escalate the problem....dunno yet....

Happy Trails

All I can say is wow. You let your new jeep sit outside topless in Hamilton? The inside is going to look like the outside full of dirt every two days.
