Florida Trip / Gas Milage

Florida Trip / Gas Milage
Well , almost 24 hours after we left at 2:45pm Wednesday we arrived and filled up for the last time in Daytona Beach Florida at 2:29pm Thrusday !! I'll give a detailed fuel report later but just thought I'd post these quick averages. We filled up 6 times on the way down counting our first fillup but not our last in Daytona. Most fillups were about 12 gallons pricing about 32$ per tank. The thing I find really odd is our Jeep ( 09 Wrangler X , 285/70/17 G/Y Duratracs , 2"lift , automatic with 24,000k) got better fuel milage and just seemed to "work better" at 80 g/d miles per hour !!! At 55-60 it only was reving about 1700rpm and just didn't make any power in that range. At those speeds I did press "OverDrive" off and got a little better fuel economy then. Anyhow , more posts later , we gotta go run the beach WITH THE TOP OFF !!! Once I load my pictures onto my Facebook I will give the thingy (that address or whatever you call it) so you can go have a look !!

Here is the link to my Facebook for some cool pictures....it's only 15 pictures but worth a look if your bored. Driving on the beach was fun and it's also the first time we had the sunrider open as we bought the Jeep in early November. We can't wait to get ALL the roof off today !

It should work as it's just a ULR to the pictures...at least thats what it says on the bottom of the page.
Ah crap...I tied it and your right ! I'll redo it because I know I've done it before with boating friends...
