Canada dashboard stickons(?)

Does anybody know a way of removing those stickons for your dashboard, mine is a round stickon disk to mount a GPS. Thanx

what i've used in the past is like fishing line or floss or thick thread... and just keep pulling it tight and sawing at it...

some of them are like double sided tape with foam in it... and you'd have to remove the foam before you can use a product like goo gone... but its easier to do with the disc off ofcourse.

Beleive it or not, WD40 should help remove the glue goo! It works wonders for that kind of stuff. If not satisfied, goo gone, or a spray goo remover should do the trick. Good luck

Use a hair dryer or heat gun to reactivate the adhesive. Get something under the edge of the stickon and the slowly pull off the stickon while heating it. Clean up the remaining adhesive with isopropyl alcohol. Works for me. If you use a heat gun, watch the heat, you don't want to melt the dash, just loosen up the adhesive.
