CB Radio Options...
I sent WJ Craig a PM about his little CB in his WJ
Cobra 75 WX ST
Ok what i like about this little guy, and that Craig like his is that its a very clean install... hide the control box under the center console, and has all the controls on the mic... so thats nice... its simple CB setup everything but a PA which i wont really be using so much... i can talk very loudly.
Midland 75-822
Craig also mentioned the Midland, I really like the adaptability of this little guy... turn into a hand held with ease... i really like that ability, has alot of the features i would use, but i think i rather go with a dedicated backup handheld rather than add on the battery and antenna...
Cobra 29 WX NW BT
This little guy, i can get a deal on, costing the same as the Midland... mounting it is going to be a bit of a pain... but the bluetooth feature can route phone calls from my cell thru the CB, for riding with the idiots who don't have a CB, or taking the calls i can just put them thru that thing, pretty neat... (i hate holding a stupid phone to my ear, i feel like a tool) has all the features im looking for... its where the hell could i put it that i'll have access to it, and it not be in the way (i've seen people mount them on the center console next to the drivers leg, thats not happening) id put it up on the top of the dashboard, but i HATE blue lights... so id have to do something about that... but yea...
Any opinions and suggestions welcome.
and of course im going to get a tuned antenna.

Re: CB Radio Options...
Man...that pic of my interior looks funny...the old radio, and the CB wire running across the front of the console...
Here...this one is a little more accurate of my setup
I can't help you with choosing which CB to get...cuz I had a pretty tough time myself! The Cobra has the clean install, the Midland is portable and easily used in multiple vehicles...the other cobra has some cool features...???
But I CAN recommend getting a Wilson Antenna! I get great reception with mine. (It has been tuned as well, which is also recommended)

Yeah i've had Wilson Antenna's before on my Dakota R/T, and the F250 has a T-2000 now... and live in Wilson but not in Illinois. lol
but their great antenna's for sure, i've built a few antenna's in the past its pretty interesting stuff how they work and how you can tune them to pick up different wavelengths.
I need mounting ideas really, hope you've got a good spot Dan...
I went ascending in price, the first one is $89, the Midland is around $130, and the Big blue cobra is $200 (but i can get it for around $140)
