I currently have my sunrider soft top on my wrangler and I was wondering if there was a trick to folding it up to get the hard top back on, When I fold down the top the plastic inserts have to be pulled out towards the back of the jeep to get it to lay flat. It looks fine but you end up with some of the top laying over the end of the tailgate. But to put the hardtop back on it says not to use the bag that was over the soft top from the factory, It says not for storage. Does anyone know if the soft top will fit back into it or not. My problem is that when I fold the soft top so all the small plastic peices are facing inwards the softtop seems to ride on the rollbar and won't lay flat. I do not want to hurt the soft top but I would like to leave it on and put the hardtop back on. Folding it with all the small plastic pieces facing inwards is the only way I can see to get it folded small enough to get it close to fitting into it's place.Can someone please let me know what is the correct way to fold everything so I can put the hardtop back on without having to remove the soft top.

Just remove the soft top and then install the hard top. The only problem is finding a place to store the soft top.

remove the soft top you do not want it stuffed in there all winter. It is only 4 Torx bolts I think T27, easy peasy.
