If i disconnect it from the transfer case, My ecu is going to log this, correct? My tranny is on the way out & i'm close to the warrenty limit...anyone know of if this is doable?? many many thanks, T.

yes ur pcm will store a dtc but just get a cheep code reader and clear the code b4 u go 2 the dealer

i,m not sure what can tire hase i got mine from mac tools and it was only 70ish$ but i.m sure that most obd2 code readers will do the job good luck and hope the dealer dont f--k u over 2 bad cus that what there good at
