Canada 2000 Cherokee classic

Hey I just purchased a 2000 Jeep Classic and I was wondering what kind of gas mileage you guys are getting. My jeep is An automatic and it has the 4.0L in it, it's fun to drive and it has some life when you push the peddle.

When driving around it doesn't shift smooth its a little rough, is it suppose to be like that because its and off-road vehicle or is something wrong? There is a little bit of engine noise too, but not too bad.

Over all its a nice practical vehicle because I can still pull my boat trailer and it's fun to drive!

Thanks who ever replies and thank you for your time!

let me know if you have any problems with your jeep classic.

4.0 enigines are generally one the the smoothest engines on the market. Even with hundreds of thousands of miles. If it has lots of power still, it may be driveline, or maybe as simple as a tune-up. Have it looked at, bro.
