Yah, nice old Jeep but the first thing to do is nail down exactly what you've got there. I don't know enough about older Jeeps to even try, but maybe somebody else here can.

Then determine how much of it is original. Do the numbers match?? Do you have the doors and all the other stuff that's supposed to be there?? Does it run??

It looks to me like it needs a frame off rotisserie restoration. You need to take some pictures of the underbody too so people can see what they would be dealing with. If the frame is rotted out, it won't be worth much imo.

yeah im going to go take some more spectific picture its got all the original army tags and army accesories

Sorry dude but I don't think you have what you think you have. Thats looks like a 1968 CJ5 and it looks like it has some fire damage, your not going to get all that much for it. The tires are military issue, so unless somebody took an old '52-'57 M38a1, got rid of the fulltime 4wd,installed the Warn hubs,gave it a bad paint job,installed a rollcage it's probably a CJ5 (civilian Jeep). $1200 - $2000 CDN. In the shape it is in now, I'm sure there is some rust issues as well. It might even be a Cj7 or a mixture of the M38, Cj5 & Cj7.

hi yourjeep is a cdn 2 .they were produced 1967 and 1968 in windsor.there was three contracts. cdn 1,cdn2,cdn3.which was 1971. regards jim.

HI there.IM knew to the computer. I have five m38a1 jeeps just like yours.it is definetly a cdn 2 with the data plate on the dash. i see its been modified quite. its looks like the 24 volt equipment is gone.its got same rust as most have. cdn2 were made in windsor so they would have cdn content.instead of buying states side.give me a call if like 613 623 6156 jim. regards .

If you are trying to sell to an army jeep restorer..it's worth not much...maybe $1,500.00 To someone wanting a jeep to fix up and have fun with...try $2,500.00 My honest opinion being an army jeep guy. Rick.
