hello, im currently in the process of joining the armed forces, i was wondering if there is anyone on this forum in the forces, i will find out in september which base i will be posted to and wouldn't mind meeting up with some of you

 

I'm in base Borden Ontario. No Jeep yet though. Lots of trails around here though.

 

Welcome to hell..oops the greatest job you can get. you will see lots and learn all kid of things. Unfortunately the Army does not have a small Jeep anymore to play in the mud with but you will get to hate a few of the trucks they have left. Wainright might become your playground with mud, rain, snow, sun all in the same week. Good luck and dont worry only the first couple years are a pain...
I'm in BC now so a bit far, but there are a lot of Army peoples around you.

 

If you get stationed near Montreal, there are a few military boys that offroad with me up north, so when and where ever you end up give a shout.

 

awesome, well like i said ill find out sept 1 where i will be getting based, but my trades training will hopefully be CFB Borden (if i get the weapons technician job) haha, and i know all to well about wainright... im in lloydminster right now. i hope i get to meet all of you some time!!
