Clubs or wheeling in Windsor
 

Just bought the JK in May, like the way that rolls off the tonge, and was wondering if anyone knows of any Jeep clubs or places to offroad some in the deep south, Windsor.
cant seem to find anything close at all.

http://www.thewindsorjeepclub.com/ found this one by google search don't know nothing about it but give them a call. Another site is http://www.offroadnorthamerica.com/Default.asp? look over this one. There are other members on here that live in the general area so they'll come back to you once they see the request.

Did you ever end up finding offroad locations in Windsor? I've been wondering as well.

Yes a group of us created are own group. we wheel mostly in Michigan but are heading to Bobcaygeon the end of the month for four days, we have regular meet and greets here in Windsor and in Detroit, check us out at BOARDER CITY JK on facebook, there is also a thread on JKOWNERS, Michigan bs thread.

Thanks for the reply. I was really hoping to hear about a spot actually within Windsor/Essex area, but guessing from your response that we live in an area with no offroad trails. Too bad.

I wonder if there's a market to somehow develop a Windsor 4x4 offroad trail? Perhaps even pay-per-use? That would be AWESOME.

Everything I'v been to has been pay and play, Bundyhill, RockandVallys, Mounds but it's just like heading out to go golfing and it's about insurance but they also change things up and make it defferent,
first time at RV I made it through Python on 33's now you can't get into it unless your on 35's with a good lift , we don't wheel that much maybe 5 or 6 times per summer some more some less, we make a day of it convouy both ways with the cb's thats kinda fun.

At this point, I'm just a stock JKU Sahara guy, a real off-road newbie, looking to try some beginner trail riding without having to do any mods, lift kit, etc. And I'm family dude, so trekking off for a weekend can be a hassle. Yeah, someone's gotta start a Jeep Park in Windsor! Depending on cost, I'd be there a couple times a month.

I'm in Windsor as well with a khaki coloured 03 Rubi TJ I drive seasonally so you may not see it around town too often but I'm originally from the outskirts of the GTA so my wheeling involves going up that way still. I'd be happy to hook up with a local group and hit up Michigan trails.

so any of you guys still wheeling? Jut picked up my JKU and getting my parts in slowly and gently just wanted to see if any of you guys happen to know of any places where jeepers meet up in the windsor area or even the county
