You're promoting going on trails that are off limits.
Because there is no signs ANYWHERE on each enterance of the trails that says no trespassing.. So define off limits please. Because if there was a no trespassing sign then I wouldn't be on them, I have a legal career and i can't afford to be getting into trouble. |

Dude the signs are constantly being ripped down by guys like you.
I don't see any signs, guess its ok to go... The Coke Plant is out of bounds, dont go there and dont tell other people its ok to go there. Its Private Property and you will be charged if caught in there. Billy |

Re: Any clubs or trails just north GTA (toronto)?
Where is there "legal" trails I can go on, without driving 3 hours.

Re: Any clubs or trails just north GTA (toronto)?
Anthony,
I'm sorry you're butthurt, but many organizations like OF4WD use alot of time and sweat educating people on proper offroad usage. Heading out to some private property, trespassing and offroading on it is frowned upon, think about this. Inviting strangers on an open forum to break the law with you kinda makes me go hmmmm. I'm not your father, do as you please. I suggest you familiarize yourself a little with the jeep community around you, go out to a few coffee meets, club meetings and/or open houses, meet some people and you will get invited out. Billy |

Bobcaygeon's Concession Lake Trail is around 2 hours 15 minute drive from Mississauga. The real pity about living in a city is that there isn't alot of offroad territory and thats the fault of the city to be sure. Best bet is to move closer to the trails, get out of the city.

It's in my family, we drive forever and we don't really suffer. Cottages can be very pricy for sure. But speaking of trailer, was thinking about putting an aftermarket hitch on my jeep when i get it and maybe looking at ultra light trailers. I know there's a few old classic trailers from the 60s - 70s they were under 1000lbs, I know there is a whole forum dedicate to it. But I'm interested in finding a 1800lbs one (leave 200lbs for extras) something with a bit of onboard water, propane small fridge and a big enough bed for 2 in the back. I'll have a 2 Door so Tow Limit is 2000lbs unfortunatly, the 4 door is 3500lbs but the GF wants the 2 door so who am I to argue :) |

Thats a good idea if your not really the driving long distances type. The new wranglers are alot more comfortable then the old ones, so the long distance traveling isn't a huge issue anymore. But I know me and my GF every summer drive up to Midland (my home town) and goto the drive in for around 7pm - 8pm and then depending if it's a triple feature or not hit the road to come home between midnight and 2am. I don't mind the drive at all, I know last summer we even drove up to north bay just for the day and that's over a 3 hour drive!
