I recently purchased a nice 93 Grand Cherokee from my friend. It has been sitting for 5 years. He could not get it to idle after if had warmed up then it would not start so he parked it. I brought it to my mechanic and he says there's no fuel at the carb and no spark. It is a 4.0 l auto.

Any help would be much appreciated.
