have a 2000 GC ltd just wondering id anyone has swapped off the 16" rims for 17" rims

going from:

16x7.0" Wheels: Backspacing = 6.0" Offset = 50.8mm Bolt pattern = 5x5 (5x127mm)

thinking of going to:

17x7.5" Wheels: Backspacing = 6.25" Offset = 50.8mm Bolt pattern = 5x5 (5x127mm


stock rubber size on the rims. Just wondering if the 17" would fit properly? bolt pattern is same. just a bit worried if they would rub being 1/2" wider and the back spacing a .25" greater

I have on the Jeep now:
General AT2 Grabbers 245/70/16

the rims I'd like to put on have:
Firestone Destination LE 235-65/17

 

Those tires are just about the same size so it won't be a problem.

 

The graphite colored "Rouge" rims are nice, been thinking about a set of those myself but they're hard to find out here for less than 400 a rim.
I've been running Firestone Destination A/T's for a couple years now and I've got no major complaints with them. Been a good tire so far.
