hi folks......

what size tires can i put on my truck?

i currently have 225-75-16, as that is what is stamped on the door sticker.

are there any alternatives?
i can get a set of 225-60-16 on rims for good money,
will they be ok?

heres a little tool i use for figuring out just how big an actual tire is compared to what you currently run... and what difference the tire will be in size, and what it'll actually do to the speedometer...

but yeah the side profile of those tires are smaller than the factory size, meaning it'll be a much smaller tire... the tool also gives you a visual...

but that new tire is tool small, factory size tire is 29.3", that 225/60 tire would only be 26.6" tall... you'd be lowering your truck, as well as throwing off the speedo... when it says your going 60MPH you'd be going 54.6MPH
