Hi---I was in Costco the other day and saw A Champion 8000 pound truck winch at $339.99.

What are the thoughts of the members here. Is it Chinese junk or is a resonable copy of the proven Warn winch which is more or less a standard for outdoor buggy use?

 

Unless your going to be the winch boy for every jeep on the trail your okay with a Champion or Superwinch has one around the same price from ctc (which I have) I figure if mine blows I can go buy another one and still be under the price of a waren. The only problem I have had with mine which I have now for my 3rd year is the cable came off the connection at the drum had it fixed and same problem again, will do a proper job when the weather gets better. Your choice 3 Champions or Superwinch or 1 waren which doesn't guarantee you anything more.
