Default best bang for your buck

Hi
this is my first post here so I will make it short and sweet im looking for a good multi-use tire...I am going to be a weekend off roader but my 1998 zj is also my daily driver. Im just looking for a well priced tire that will do both well.

I searched but couldn't find anything but im kinda bad at the whole searching thing.

thanks

Hi when I was out in B.C. I had a Wagoneer.I installed Hancook tires that they called all seasons but I found them very good for road & trail.I wish I could remember the right name on them but I seem to think it was a number only..all the best.... POPS

bfg mt km2
goodyear mtr

ihave run good year ats. while this is a good tire there is a big difference in offrod performance. the two mt's i have are tires i have run. the bfg is to be tested by myself yet. street matters is good so far. snow is great. ice on highway is acceptable to superior. i say that because I slowed down just before coming up on three cars in the ditch. i always had control and good feedback. offroad it has not been tested yet. i have just got theses. the mtr are amazing tire. plugs up with mud unless you figure out how much to spin them so they self clean. i hope the bfg lives up to the mtrs.

ats well good on road, ok offroad, not great in mud, sand alright. rock is ok. overall this tire falls short of mt offroad but does pretty good.

bottom line if you dont mind a slight humm from the mt's then go with mt's. these two mts are way quieter than say a tsl super swamper by far.

I'm currently using Pro-Comp Xtreme M/T's on my vehicle. I've had them on for a couple of years now and they've treated me well. TrXus tires are alright too, but they can be tough to get balanced, and are kind of heavy when compared to other tires, but for the money they're a good off road tire, with fairly decent street manners...

Other then that, I've heard good reviews for Cooper SST's, Kumho KL71, Mickey Baja Clawa to name a few...

Here's a whole whack of reviews for you if you're interested...
