Re: Wiper Malfunction (stuck on intermittent)

I don't have the book for that vehicle so I will take a guess. The rod that connects the wiper control to the switch that's in the column is either broken or worn to the point that it will not turn...

Re: Starting issues.

one very common problem that causes a no start when warm condition and in severe cases a stall when hot is the crank sensor. My son changed four of them in the time he had his xj. A bad crank sensor...

Re: Impossible heater problem

I have a similar problem on a vehicle that is not a jeep but one vehicle is much the same as another in how the heater works. My guess is that the thermostat is opening early, it might be a new one...

Re: JK LED trailer running lights inop

I don't see why changuing to led should make any difference. try feeding the lights on the trailer from a difference source to verify that they work and also verify that the feed from the truck is...

Re: Removing tapered torx bolts from tailgate hinge

I would first try cutting a slot in the head of the bolt and see if it will move using an impact driver.

Re: Power steering pump bearing noise?

Are you sure the noise is coming from the p/s pump and not the idler bearing? It might just be air in the system, I would suggest going round all the things the belt goes round with a stethyscope to...

Re: 2011- 2017 Jeep Wrangler Touchscreen Radio

In dash nav systems rely on the radio antenna to aquire the satelite information, If the antenna is not really good it will not be able to aquire enough information to work reliably. That is just my...

Re: Trailer brake controller.

As far as I understand it, the wire from the trailer plug goes to a place under the dashboard near the steering column but I don't believe there is a place to connect the controller, that's up to...

Re: What Did You Do To Your GC Today

Looks like you will be busy for a couple of hours. I never got fuel mileage as good as that with my 4.7 but it did have lots of power and a great exhaust note.

Re: Random(usually when hot) stalling.

Don't think I can be much help, I don't see how the scan cannot read the cam and crank sensor, I assume the tach reads rpm. I tried to find a similar problem on a mini van of the same era, I was not...

Re: 94 won't start woes

I see on the picture that the vacuum line for the fuel pressure regulator is not connected.to the manifold. this will cause a way over rich mixture. try that first and post what happens.

Re: 2002 Jeep Liberty 3.7. HELP!

the fuel leak could very well be causing most or all of the issues. modern fuel injected engines are reliant on the fuel pressure being correct or the computer is unable to compensate for changing...

Re: Leaks on a 98 TJ

can't tell too much from the pictures but my best guess would be a leak in the radiator on the motor side, probably under the cowl where it cannot be seen, or it could be a hose.
