removed all the burnt out bulbs on a wk center dash panel. What a stupid design, the bulbs are not much bigger than a rice grain and are face soldered to the board. I replaced them with leds and 2.2k resisters to control the current. What a job, took the whole afternoon working with a soldering iron and a pair of tweezers.

Installed Safari Straps, changed oil, vacuumed interior.

Front axle U-joints started making noise recently. Ordered new joints, hubs, nuts, and diff seals, and popped off the rims to start the week-long soak of Liquid Wrench - the U-joints are hilariously bad! Also final coat of paint on the new valve cover, started primer on the front skid.

I didn't break, strip, snap, or otherwise damage my hub bolts upon removal. 15 years in Quebec and Ontario and not a single problem getting the hubs off. An hour of Liquid Wrench and 15 seconds of propane. Unbelievable.

Now I can't get the diff out of the D30 to change the oil seal.... typical...
