Can't help you with that one, I have a TJ, but you'll probably get more of a response if you post this in the General Jeep and Tech Talk forum.

Better let the guys there know a few more details like which of the courtesy lights the water was coming from and how you were washing it.

I just purchased a 2010 Jeep Patriot North Edition and had the Jeep on Friday and on Monday we had rain and Tuesday morning we opened the back of the Jeep and it was soaked. There was water coming out from the back cargo light, Where the flashlight is and the cover for the spare tire was soaked as well. They said they found the problem and fixed it on tuesday. That night I did my own water test and an hour later it was filling up with water again. So, it's back in the shop and sent to the body shop to find out what the problem is. I've looked on all kinds of forums and seen loads of people with this problem and taking up to 10 times and still the problem's not fixed. Well, the sales manager acted stupid like he didn't know what I was talking about and to find out today that they just had a jeep in there 3 months ago with the EXACT same problem and said that they tried to fix it 3 times. Didn't say wether or not they fixed it and that it's usually 1 in 20 that have the leaking water problem. We've had the jeep now 5 days now and super pissed off about it.

Greetings,
You SHOULD be pissed off!!! Two possible sources of info are:
Motor Vehicle Lemon Laws in Canada : Law is Cool
APA.ca
Water inside ANY vehicle is not a good thing. What about 5 years down the road when it starts rusting out from the inside? Where will the dealer be then?
Strike NOW and stike HARD!
