Vin &/or License Numbers
Here's a site I found which is very useful if you suspect a vehicle to be stolen which is good for ALL of Canada

And for Quebec if you want to know if there is a lien on a vehicle you are thinking of buying.
the cost is very low for peace of mind around $15. The website is only in french but if you phone them (as I did) you might just get a person to translate it for you

I had looked at a car years ago, a cheap 911 Turbo. I wanted it sooooo bad but couldn't located the vins. The seller said we didnt need any LOL
While the link wouldn't have been very helpful since there's no vin but still, nice to run a vin before buying any car!
