Tiger Woods injured in car crash
(CNN) -- Golfer Tiger Woods was taken to a Florida hospital after suffering serious injuries in a car crash early Friday, officials said.
The one-car accident occurred about 2:25 a.m. near his home in Windermere, a suburb of Orlando, according to an incident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
Woods, 33, had just pulled out of his driveway in his 2009 Cadillac SUV and had begun to drive down a street when he struck a fire hydrant, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The front of his vehicle then struck a tree.
Windermere Mayor Gary Bruhn told CNN that local police arrived within two minutes of being notified. The golfer was taken to Health Central Hospital, where he was treated for facial lacerations and released, Bruhn said.

just hear some clanging bottles tires screetching, tiger yelling man "i've got to get in line at best buy", then more banging and clanging "i spilled my f**kin 40!" then a really loud thud follwed by tree branches falling...

i've had crazy cases of jetlag in the past... it wouldn't surprise me if thats what happened, maybe a golf ball under the brake pedal, the 40 story, something fun... could have been reaching for his cellphone and ran off the road... you'll never know until they tell something...
and i can understand tiger keeping things quite. he lets the golf game do the talking, you dont need to know what he's doing at his house at 2:30am unless he tells ya... thats just me...
and by law, you dont have to give a statement if you were in a traffic accident here, you can let them figure it out if youd like...

This brings to mind the OJ story. These guys ought to know that they're in the limelight and with the money they have, gad, the vultures are patiently waiting to swoop down and scoop it up. I wonder how many millions he'll lose over this little fiasco!
Can't these millionaires get it through their heads that they must keep their noses very clean at all times? The only other scenario is to have nothing, then there is nothing to lose eh?
