Re: yj diffs
try to find axles from older wagonner or full size bronco small block swap is very easy I did it in a single car garage. also did it with small budget. Couple people on here have done both. any questions about sbc swap would be glad to help out

Re: yj diffs
I'd find a dana 44 or a ford 8.8 but if you can find a older full size ford grab it 9"&dana44

a shaved 9 '' in the rear with trusses on top and in the rear and youll never have to worry about it again dutchman motorsports builds good axles for good prices . the front you can beef up a 44 and never worry to much about it . depends on how hard you are on your rig . if you want serious beef there's the 609 ( 9" center with 60 outers ) you can source out most of the parts from wrecking yards and build fairly cheap but thats just my solution cause i hate fixing diffs and axles on the trail. building jeeps the best theroy to go by is... there no kill like over kill. it may get a little expensive but it saves you from spending the night sleeping in your jeep and walking out of the bush to get parts...
