Canada O2 senso

I just got a 1995 jeep yj went to get it ready for a etest when i found the o2 sensor was bypassed. Went and got a new o2 sensor jeep wont start. Will start if i bypass the o2. Also get codes 22,23,24 i dont know much about jeep.

22 coolant temp sensor or circuit
23mat sensor or circuit
24throttle position sensor or circuit
if you get a good repair manual it will help you out Haynes repair manual is what I have covers 1987-2008 wranglers. hope this helps

Could you describe in more detail how you bypass the o2. It sounds like you have a problem in the harness somewhere. Is it obd1 or 2?, either way the o2 being connected or not should not affect whether it starts or not.

they have the wires from an 02 sensor .have the grey and white conected to each other i leave it on the jeep starts no problem i hook up the o2 sensor the jeep wont start.

today looking at the jeep. i pulled the bypass wires off jeep stalled. put the bypass wires back on i could hear the full pump kick on if this helps anyone
