My oil pressure gauge was sitting at the "3" mark on the gauge. It's now sitting just a hair below the lower heavy mark. The oil is filled, there is no idiot light showing a low pressure problem, no check engine light. There is no heavy ticking in the motor indicating a lack of oil. I have removed the oil filler cap, with engine running, and oil is being pumped to the top end. Lots of it. I had a temp gauge problem that turned out to be a bad gauge. The ribbon behind it was shot. Any chance the oil gauge has given up too? Suggestions on what to trouble shoot?
