95 YJ key ignition removal

How do you get the lock cylinder out of a 95 YJ. I can't seem to find the release tab to remove my cylinder out of the column.Haynes manual does not match my set up. There is no screw to remove and there is no hole to insert something though the bottom. Any suggestions???

There would be either a retainer that has to be depressed when the ingition is in the Accessories position or there would be a pin holdingit in, so it could be one large pin or a couple of small roll pins around the ignition. I will try have a look at my one, even though its a 98.

Why do you need to remove the ignition?

Thanks for the info. I did find the release just after I posted this message. My multifunction turn signal switch was needing replacement and according to Haynes it said to remove ignition switch to get it out. Little did I realize after the fact this was not required.
