Not to be confused with the "Well... pulled the trigger on a 2011 Jeep!"
I have been enjoying this machine, a LOT! My unlimited is nice and I really liked it when I got it but this is a whole other level. Ive owned an SRT Charger in the past and really enjoyed that but set it free earlier this year. The Cherokee SRT8 is awesome. The audio, seats, features and raw power is just, well, awesome. The Unlimited is still on regular rotation and the SRT8 WILL be driven in winter. If I don't give a shout out to the wife on this one I may be beheaded. LOL. She was happy with adding another Unlimited....... :p And now, some pictures. Any questions, let me know and I will see if I can answer them or if you want pictures from a different angle or something. https://www.jeepscanada.com/attachme...0&d=1323844338 |

You certainly cant offroad it and I am not sure I would ever try. I am curious how it will be in snow with the current rubber on it, they are more geared towards summer driving. Cargo space is great compared to the Unlimited. I feel way to cramped in the unlimited compared to the Cherokee. The srt8 can tow but I dont expect to tow any time soon. I was going to say setup a meet and we can all get together and you can check it out, but, you are pretty far away. lol |
Re: Well... pulled the trigger on a 2012 Jeep Cherokee SRT8!
yeah im sure that thing breaks necks anywhere you go lol...
those tires would be a scary thing in my neck of the woods, i've got brand new directional hancook ipike tires that are studded on the Jetta, and i was sliding around more than i was comfortable with lol... My brothers mustang is another story lol, they spin when you spit on the ground, nevermind when their frozen... then again, all wheel drive in the SRT8... but then again you have another 100hp in your beast lol that thing doesn't have the quadralift in it, i wouldn't be taking it offroad either lol you have the unlimited for that lol |

Well, my srt8 has the Pirelli PZeros on them
The jeep is almost useless with what little snow we have. Went out, turned around and came home. Almost slid through a stop sign, barely could make it up Dundas lol |

Also, just took her in for a possible warranty claim. Upon closer inspection, my front left rim has some green colorization in it. It appears in the clear coat of the rim. Its only 1 rim out of the 4 that has the issue. Peter from erin Dodge took some photos, details and is supposed to get back to me.

Re: Well... pulled the trigger on a 2012 Jeep Cherokee SRT8!
Had the rim replaced last week. In and out within the hour.
MSRP on the rim, $2,000 as for post #11. I was told that the rim size they quoted me on for the truck winters DO NOT fit. |
