Newbie here

As the header says, newbie here. Just bought my first Jeep 10 days ago ( love it ) issues with place I bought it from. How does a mechanic miss contaminated rear brake pads?? Had my e-brake checked due to slippage and found rear seals, both sides, leaking and all.over rear brakes. Now fighting to get it fixed

I'd say b/4 buying you should have crawled underneath and did a check on allot of things you are now finding out are in need of repairs. But that statement is a little late now
if all the paper work is final (as is) but if not (I don't know the laws in Alberta) but it might be possible to force the seller to fix things which were not indicated on the sales contract.
If none of this is possible then I'd suggest a 4by4 shop for repairs and a check over. 4wheelparts has a store in Calgary give them a call see what they can do for you. I deal with
the one in Montreal and never had a problem, knowledge people, reasonable pricing too. Also you might want to check for any offroading club in your area and give them a call
They are usually very helpful in location some good advice.

I did crawl under but I think they washed the under carriage before I showed up. Had a loud back and forth with owner of lot last night. I am droppin my girl if yo him tomorrow to be fixed. Now I gave to gripe to whomever put in my new stereo through lot, broke numerous clips behind my dash. I wonder where workmanship and pride of work have gone these days
