Default Wrangler X Tire dilemma

I have a 2005 JEEP Wrangler "X" 6speed 6cyl. I want to put rims and tires on it that are 245-75-16. The JEEP came stock with 225-75-15 and I want to know IF the 245-75-16 rims and tire will cause me any interference issues. Thank You.

Default Re: Wrangler X Tire dilemma

On the www.jeepforum.com there are hundreds of articals about tires, there is even a Wheel and Tire section.

I have done all my research - for new tires - on that site.

This is a good site too, but jeepforum.com has a lot more.

I have decided to stay away from the 12.5" wide tires and go with 10.5" in a 33". My Jeep is a daily-driver and I'd like to keep it manageable on the road and maintain some kind of reasonable gas mileage.
