will not go into 4 low

hi i have a 05 tj 4 lt 6speed, that will not go into 4 lo, 4 hi works , N works but will not go into 4 lo, no noises , no nothing just will not move down from N.
what do you think?

Well worse case scenario.. your transfer case is shot. But, don't get upset just yet, get under there and spray the linkage well with a good penetrating oil, let it site for about a day, then try to gently free it, spray again, and so on. The linkage can get seized up from lack of use.

How fast are you moving when you try to shift into 4 lo?
