Re: Wheels

Might I suggest going with Pro Comp instead? They make an almost identical steel wheel -Rock Crawler Series 97 Black Monster Mod Wheel; or maybe M/T (Mickey Thompson) Signature Series Wheel. Both of these are available from National 4WD Center (nationa4wdonline.com). They ship and have a retail/warehouse in Calgary Alberta. Don't know anything about the Alberta boys but the group here in Ontario are awsome to deal with, online and in person!

Re: Wheels

I checked them out on the internet and you're right they have a store in Calgary SE, I'll take a trip up there next week.

I like the looks of the Procomp wheel and they are only $86 each.

I'm thinking if going with these wheels as I like the "black wheel" look on Jeeps. Also, my current BFG tires are about worn out.

I do not do much off-road, it's mainly my DD but I like it to look good.

Re: Wheels

Glad to be of help. I'd stick with BFG for daily tires. I run All Terrain T/A KO's. Nice and quiet, especially if you run a soft top. Put 3,500 kms on mine touring Michigan's Upper Pennisula, rock solid on wet pavement (even with 65 to 75 MILE an hour winds trying to blow me off) great off road (tour the trails), even crawlin' along the pebble beach. I can't vouch for what they will to in the deep goo, but daily drivers don't often find themselves in those situations - at least not without a buddy packing a winch or a long tug'em strap.

Re: Wheels

Lemme get this straight,
you are asking us what wheels/tires you have on your jeep in LA?

How about you step outside and get real, real close to them,
they have some writing on the outside of the tires,
post up what those funny numbers say...

And post up some pictures, everyone loves pictures!

Billy
