Post it up.

I'm in a '98 manual four banger.

Mostly stock.

Best vehicle I've owned in 35+ years of driving.

Cheers all !!

I think it falls on my roof more than on the ground. Were thinking of a possible run in April may be if I like the looks of your jeep I will ask you to come along so we can bury it in the mud.. nice guy..
Got a meeting on the 12th at 1930hrs at Hymus Traven if your interested in dropping in.

I may just pop in to hoist a pint :beerchug:

I have a place outside Ripon (north of Montebello), and there's a whack of snow there as well. I have a steep roof and lots of sun, so I don't really have an issue with snow accumulation, but my brother in law with his almost flat steel roof does, and it kind of makes me laugh seeing him up on there all the time. I don't need to cut my lawn either.

As for my Jeep, it's pretty well stock, and probably not up to snuff for a seriously muddy April trail ride, but it's by far the best vehicle I've ever driven. And it looks pretty good too.

I'm going to turn it into the cleanest and niftiest little 4 cyl. trail-beast that was ever wheeled before I turn 60. The grandkids will love it.

But not as much as me :)

The Best thing about the wrangler is the ability to change it's look all the time.
Like a transformer.
Right now i'm in winter mode stock bumper and sway bar on the front.
All three other seasons i have my stubby bumper on with the winch no
sway (bar cus it don't fit) and rock lights that run of the factory fog switch.

Have a 2002 TJ Apex edition, bought used in March 2007 with only 27,000km on it. Love it like the day I got it. Was gotten stock, now has warn 8000 winch & plate, windsheild mounted kc highlights, cb & antenna, class 3 hitch w/ d-ring shackle, replaced stearing box twice (once under warranty), added stearing box skid plate, rear stabilizer links (twice, second time put high end ones), replace both front wheel u-joints & front drive shaft u-joint. Wife just got (in October '08) a 2008 JK 4-door "canary yellow" unlimited X. Now she finally leaves my TJ alone (& she gets to haul the kids, hehehe) :lol_hitting:
Nothing like a JEEP!

I'd like to see a photo of a columbia edition.
In the West we have the Rocky mtn. edition.

The only mod you need on you're jeep is Ontario pin striping
Just get out in the woods and drive it get a couple scratches on it.
It's a jeep it will blow you're mind what it can do.

I bought it sight unseen, They just gave me the details and price, I said deliver it. And justly so I was VERY happy with it...

Just have to do something about tires, Those BFG Land Terrians like to spin out alot in 2wd.
But man is it fun:)

Re: What year and model is your TJ ??

I highly recommend the BFG T/A KO's.
They grip great on anything except sheer ice.

Re: What year and model is your TJ ??

Has anyone tried the BFG KM2's, they are based on the Krawlers and look fairly good.?

And, I finally did my first repair, Fan wouldn't work on anything but high, sure enough resistor block was done, got and installed. I have to smile after working around these vehicles...They have to be the most accessible unit on the road today for fixing.:D

Can you say AWSOME!

Cheers

Look in to having you're tires siped.
Its a knife cut across the treds.
Helps to grip on ice so i've been told.
Don't get a lot of it here in Van.

Google for more info.

You can do it you're self witha utility knife.

I have not my self. I like rock and i loose chunks on a regular bases.

I have a 02 Sahara 6cyl. Bought it two summers ago on Canada Day Weekend. Still running stock everything, waiting to finish university before any money goes into it really. I want to lift it, get some bigger tires, front and rear bumpers and because i'm young, its going to need a small little sound system.

Hello,

03 Rubicon, 285/75/16 MTR's, 1"BL,MML,Rancho adjustable shocks, discos, upgraded precision ujoints, tom woods rear CV ds, ZJ tracbar, adjustable custom UCA's, PIAA/IPF lights, CJ style front lights, linex, dual batteries, custom intake, Safari snorkle option, nice hidden sound system and factory sub, tuffy consoles, ORFab rollcage, home made custom front bumper and rear tire carrier with tow D rings, HAM gear, reverse lamps, rock lights, lockers relocated under hood

Next up is a tummy tuck, the only thing I get hung up on. Oh and also making a heat exchanger for a hot shower device. Pump already wired up!

Lots of fun. Been lots of work, picked her up in 2007 with 179,000Kms and spent a lof of time fixing little niggly problems from previous mistreatment (non existant needles in the front DS ujoints for example and botched wiring jobs). Now full of fresh fluids, RP Synchromax in the Tranny etc and she's happy!

Gethin.

2001 TJ Sport 4L manual (5 spd)
air raid cold air intake
Banks exhaust
2" lift w/procomp shocks/springs
waiting for wheel adaptors to put 18" Rubicon wheel+ tires on

had 2 cherokees and a Liberty before I bought the TJ.

Plan to keep the TJ forever! LOVE driving it (almost stopped driving my other cars)

Great the Other TJ owners wave when driving (except in Quebec)
