ya mine does the same, looks like its coming from behind the glovebox somewhere, drips from the passenger foot light,to fix it ?...silicone the snot out of everything, was told it might be coming from the hood vent(lots of debris plugging drain holes)? mine look fine and still leak..oh well, try something else

Re: water under the carpets

Greetings,
With reference to cowboys666 comments about silicone. I would NOT use silicone as a general caulk "the snot out of everything" type of stuff. Great for SPECIFIC fixes (diff's, valve covers, toilets etc.) but having used silicone products for 35+ years, it really can cause problems down the road.
Forget about painting ANYTHING where you have used silicone. It's impossible to totaly remove and the only thing that sticks to silicone is more silicone.
There's lots of other caulk type products available which will seal as well as silicone without issues.
Just my $.02.
Peter

Good luck!

All i did is remove the carpets and pull the plugs on the floor! I never bother with carpets as they hold the water and salt which ends up rotting the floor!

That is what I thought...I removed my carpet when my Jeep was 6 months old, my wifes Jeep which is the same year, left her carpet in, my floor is rusted, hers looks like new!!

this is common the heater air intake is sometimes the problem the bottom of the air intake hole is almost flush with bottom of cowl,if debris gets in the way water is diverted into the heater instead of going past the opening and out the bottom of the fenders
