Replacement TJ fenders (Canada)
Hi fellow TJ owners. I'm looking to replace the front fenders on my '99 (rust in the usual spots). I'm trying (unsuccessfully so far) to locate a Canadian source for replacement front fenders (other than the dealer whose prices are, well, you know). Does anyone know of a Canadian supplier for Jeep sheet metal?
Any help on this would be much appreciated! |
Re: Replacement TJ fenders (Canada)
Seems this is an on going problem with the YJ's and TJ's as a few friends and myself are looking for the same parts as you. The passenger fender is disappearing slowly on the top flat surface. If you come across anywhere please post it here and if I come across anything I will do the same. I've looked into a few scrap yards and only found the drivers one, which in my case it still in good shape. There is a scrap yard in your area (also a sponsor here) S.A.W. give them a call they might have something.

I got good prices from our Napa store through one of their suppliers.

Re: Replacement TJ fenders (Canada)
I have a couple of suggestions
1. Go to a local independent body shop and talk to them about getting them and painting them to match your vehicle. you will then install them yourself. or 2. go and buy yourself some tube and sheet metal and make your own. It's not as stupid or difficult as it sounds. |

Re: Replacement TJ fenders (Canada)
Instead of replacing your fenders with OEM style fenders why don't you install flat fenders. You can have someone custom make them. I'm currently having a friend build mine. Or you can buy fenders through metalcloak or genright and have them installed.
Or smittybuilt makes an inexpensive pair of flat front fenders. |

Re: Replacement TJ fenders (Canada)
Cross Cda might be a great place to order from once you have their catalog but I don't want to order a catalog I would rather view something on line, but there doesn't seem to be a way. Too bad.
