Rear Suspension Cam Bolts
Hey everyone, A year and a half ago, I installed a budget boost on my 02’, ever since then I’ve had a slight drive shaft buzz. I though I'd need a SYE to cure the problem but never had the money.
I received my newest JP magazine, and I read if you have installed a BB on a manual trans. Jeep, that you may need to adjust the rear cam bolts to set the pinion angle. My educated guess is it would be on the upper arms, on the axle mounting point. Also I do not know how much to rotate to get the angle correct. |
Re: Rear Suspension Cam Bolts
An SYE will not fix your BB. Save your money...
It may be the transmission, just a thought ... maybe loosen the 4 bolts on the trans skid plate let it move (if it even does) then re-tighten. Also your U-joint (s) may need to be replaced or even your drive - shaft re-balanced. Good Luck |
